I always will remember Tom's smile. Our senior year he always had me laughing. He would let me wear his varsity jacket and that always made me feel special. Tom had a heart of gold!!!

How bittersweet it has been to know and watch his 3 beautiful girls grow up. Two are married and Tom now has three grandchildren! His baby Chelsie is graduating from college next month. I know he would be (and maybe is) so proud!!!
I remember walking to get ice cream with Tom, Jane Wetzel and Cheryl Yoder. We walked through the Mansfield Cemetery and then found that we had to climb and jump the fence (or go all the way around) to get out. Everyone got over just fine. Then I tried and got stuck on the top of the fence. My coat had hooked the posts. I was literally hanging there. My feet were not touching the ground! Tom was laughing so hard, but somehow, he managed to lift my big buffoon body off the fence.
I miss him!!

When Tom Adams first moved to Ohio in junior high, he had a moustache! I swear! And all the girls swooned. Still, my most vivid memories are after graduation...I'd come home from college and babysit for Tom and Cheryl, so he would take me on a motorcycle ride through Mohican to pay me back. PURE FUN! He'd take aerobics classes with Cheryl and I, muttering "You're a machine!" while we did those awful hydrant thingys. But my favorite stories are about his love and devotion to his daughters. One time I walked into their living room and he was standing on the coffee table, playing an air guitar and singing Dire Straits "Money for Nothing" while his little girls acted like rock star fans, screaming and jumping up and down. He adored his babies...now he has three grandchildren, Sophia(4), Thomas(1), and Avery, a newborn who rests in a cradle that Tom made in 1978 in Industrial Arts at Madison.
