James T. Windsor, Sr., age 40, 654 Highland Ave. died Sunday morning, October 1, 2000, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following an extended illness. He was born January 25, 1960 to Robert E., Sr. and Rosemary Peck Windsor in Mansfield and lived here most of his life. He had worked for CRT Landscaping prior to his illness. Mr. Windsor attended the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, James T. Windsor, Jr. of Mansfield; a daughter, Callan Whited of Shelby; his mother, Rosemary Windsor of Mansfield; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert E., Jr. and Darlene A. Windsor of Mansfield, Douglas E. Windsor and Jeanna McClurg of Mansfield and Todd L. and Gina Windsor of Mansfield; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, special friends, Jeff Salser, Barbara Richards and Phil Morganstern all of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Windsor, Sr., maternal grandparents, Katherine and Vernon Peck, paternal grandparents, Frank and June Windsor and his best friend, Michael Morganstern.
Friends may call at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, October 3, 2000, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at 10:00 am in the funeral home by Rector Emeritus David Sipes. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to aid in funeral expenses.
