Mansfield- Ruth E. Johnson Klotz, 39 of 1120 Pat Lane died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.
She was born in Mansfield on August 5, 1960 to Carl and Millie Vollmer Johnson. Ruth attended Madison Comprehensive High School. Ruth wasa the manager at Park Place Hotel in Mansfield. She was a member of Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed church activities, boating and being with her family.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 22 years. Steven H. Klotz: her father Carl Johnson of Mansfield, two sisters and two brother-in-laws, Sharon and Ivan Sturgell of Mansfield, and Carla and Darrell Lee of New Castle, PA. Mother and father-in-law, Don and Donna Graber; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Lorrie and Thomas Henson, and Tabitha Graber. Two stepsisters-in-law, Kathy Fox and Melinda Saylor. one stepbrother and sister-in-law, David and Denise Graber. 25 nieces and nephews, two great nieces, one greatnephew, numerous aunts, uncles cousins and friends, and her two speical dogs, Star and Max.
She is preceded in death by her mother Armilla "Millie" Johnson; paternal grandparents, Orland and Octa Johnson, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Edna Vollmer.
Friends may call at Geiger-Herlihy Funeral Home Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10am at the Mansfield Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Crank officiating. Burial will be in Lantz Cemetery. Memorial contributions may me made to the Church.
