Henry "Hank" Carpenter

MANSFIELD: Henry "Hank" Carpenter, 54, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home.

Henry was born July 10, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York and was the son of the late General Lee and Rosalinda (Coffiel) Carpenter. He was a graduate of Madison High School and enjoyed golfing, fishing, Mid-Ohio Racing, and Motocross Racing. Henry loved to spend time with his grandkids.

Henry is survived by his wife, Debra K. Carpenter; four children, Trisha Carpenter, Robert Phillips, Michelle (Travis) McBride, and Melissa (Craig) Austin; a "special daughter", Alice Williams; four siblings, Ida Figures, Lee Carpenter, Eva Carpenter, and Julia (WC) White; in-laws, Carroll and Marcella Beasley; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Along with his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his former wife, Louise Carpenter-Graham; and good friend, Jerry Burke

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of the funeral.
